Mainframe Industries has announced that its Unreal Engine 5-powered social sandbox MMO game, Pax Dei, will hit Steam Early Access on June 18th. The game will feature an open-world playground, and players will choose the role they want to play. Players will explore the land, build their home, forge their reputation, and craft their own stories. Furthermore, the devs claim that everything in this world will be produced by the players’ hands and skills. Players can provide clothes, walls, food, flowers, and prayers to their villages. Additionally, they can provide weapons and armor to their Clan. Pax Dei will remain in Early Access for at least a year. The EA version will have a peaceful gameplay look and an adventure gameplay loop, with large areas to explore (PVE) and compete over (PVP). The devs have also revealed the game’s first update. This update will be adding to the third core pillar of the game: the social gameplay loop, by introducing features such as markets and gold economy.

Mainframe Industries has also revealed the PC system requirements for Pax Dei. PC gamers will at least need an Intel i5-7600K or AMD equivalent with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or an AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT. The game will also require 80GB of free disk space. The devs recommend using an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel equivalent with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or an AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT.

Noctua is finally launching its Noctua NH-D15 G2 that we've been talking about for years now. The cooler is shipping right now and launching sometime in June or July this year, with new fans coming up in September or October. The Noctua NH-D15 G2's price will be $150 and there will be 3 variations to choose from for that price, named LBC, HBC, and then the general convexity coldplate solution. Noctua has been working on tuning the NF-A14x25 G2 and the cooler coldplate alike, trying to dial against Intel's curvature problems we talked about previously. The company is also working on a thermosiphon which we're told will very likely become a product, but with no current release target or roadmap, and on a Seasonic collaboration PSU.

You normally pause and minimize your game, pull up a web-browser, and sift through dozens of search results to find the right Wiki or community thread that solves your problem. Wouldn't it be great, if you could pull up an in-game chat window and interact with an AI chat assistant (not unlike ChatGPT), except, the assistant is situationally aware of your entire game-state? That is NVIDIA Project G-Assist. NVIDIA is training an AI on the vast ocean of information from the Internet on the countless games there are. You will soon be able to pull up an AI chat assistant, and will be able to either give it a text or natural voice input on how you want it to help you in the situation of the game you're in, and it will be able to guide you. G-Assist will not play the game for you, just give you precise and concise answers based on your game state (something no Google search or game wiki can). Besides assisting your gameplay, G-Assist will also help you with performance optimization and system tuning, the way the NVIDIA App and GeForce Experience already do.
